Single-family dwelling in Monte Gentile
The house is in the woodland. The shape follows the chestnut trees, it goes round them; no tree is going to be cut. The lower level is partly dug to minimize building height. Most of the construction expands on the upper level leaving the ground open and undisturbed. The curve volume on the upper level is clad in wood to merge it with the environment, whilst the living room has full height sliding glass doors opening to the outside.
